CIME S.r.l. Crescenzi Induction Melting is founded in Turin. Mission: coreless induction furnaces.
1960s
First melting furnaces
Development and production of the first coreless melting furnaces. Start of the first European exports.

Invention of the CAP
Giuseppe Crescenzi invents the automatic coreless press-pouring furnace. The world's first of its kind.
1982
International patent
Filing of the formal international patent. The CAP enters the history of foundry engineering.

Global expansion

Tandem System
Launch of the Tandem system: integrated in-line melting and pouring. Continuous throughput, optimized cycle.

IGBT converters
